“Flames of War” is a 24 x 18 palette knife abstract painting, and one of my most emotionally raw works – a powerful expression of conflict and chaos rendered through a dabbing palette knife technique.
The painting’s intense reddish-orange and yellow elements surge against deep blues, creating a visceral sense of the fire and destruction that comes with separation and self-reclamation.
It was named in the wake of clarity – when betrayal hardens into truth, and the only option is to step out of someone else’s narrative and reclaim your own. Each directional stroke contributes to an overall sensation of explosive energy and uncontrolled force.
