From Realism to Abstract Expression

Though creativity has been a constant throughout his life – from music and theater to digital design – Swetz’s journey into abstract acrylic art began in 2011. That’s when he made a decisive shift from precise, realistic drawings to abstract expression.

This transition marked more than just a change in medium. It signaled a fundamental transformation in his artistic approach. Where his earlier work demanded careful planning and control, his paintings now emerge from a place of intuitive connection and spiritual openness.

Recently emerging into the public art scene, Swetz made his debut at the Wilton Manors Art Walk in December 2024. His work aims to inspire others to pursue their creative passions while bringing vibrant energy into their spaces.
